P210 ORACLE 210 Sun17 Oct ITN 2211:10   'OVERTIME CUT COULD END  PAY DISPUTE' — SCARGILL Miners' leader Arthur Scargill has said the overtime ban in the pits should show the NCB how easy it would be to meet the union's wage claim. He told a rally that an overtime cut from the present 14% to 4% would provide £120m more for the Coal Board to put on the table. An NCB official accused the NUM earlier of trying to confuse its members in the lead up to a pithead ballot.
