The group comprises Granada, Anglia, Virgin, Amstrad and Pearson who expect to commence programme service in 1990. Reception will be possible on existing receivers with the aid of an adaptor and a 45 cm dish, costing about £200. Four programme services are to be provided on three channels (4,8 and 12) in the DBS band, 11.7 - 12.5 GHz. The transponder power is expected to be 110-120 Watts, modulated by the IBA- developed MAC vision format. C4 relays follow >
