P214 ORACLE 214 Sat24 Sep ITN 2101:11 COMPUTER FORECASTS KINNOCK WIN Mr Neil Kinnock has said that computer forecasts indicate a first-ballot victory for him in Labour's leadership election next week. He said in Dundee that he was more than "quietly confident of success". Mr Kinnock refused to say if he would prefer Mr Michael Meacher or Mr Roy Hattersley as his deputy. But he said he would "be the boss" in whatever partnership emerged. "An uncompromising result would be extremely useful for the advance of the Labour Party and a good basis from which to work," he added.
