Leeds chairman Gerald Krasner will meet the Sainsbury's consortium in the next few days to discuss the bid, believed to be worth about £25m. Mr Krasner pulled out of talks just two weeks ago as Mr Sainsbury's consortium had not produced proof of funding. This means it could now sign players, said Bradford. Mr Rhodes, a former chief executive at the club, is buying it from Gordon Gibbs. Other investors, including 1,263 supporters, only invested a total of £1.16m, bringing the total new money raised to £51.43m. Mr Murray, who resumed the position of chairman recently, bought 51m shares at 100p a share.
