Dad Patrick is half French and half Portuguese and fluent in French. They'd been on holiday to France before. He says: "The region was cheap and the chateau and town were pretty. With great transport links, it was a good place for our hotel. Collette says of the French region: "There's a wealth of things for kids to do." He s!ys: "I'd done DIY but nothing on this scale. Our quarters are unfinished.
