Dixons, Tempo and Comet are offering £599 (inc VAT) systems and others are following this move. Often these machines come with 14-inch monitors when industry standards are 15. Have you bought a cheap hich streez PC, and what did you think of it? Why should we have to pay for five minutes when we aren't even online for one minute? Dear Bunderman, After using some of the big name ISP3 over the past year, I have found Freeserve just as good as most and actually better than some. My last ISP was TescoNet and I found them very slow. When I e-mailed them, for assistance, the response was a long time coming. It is, in my opinion, obviously the best way to shop because there is so much more variety of goods available than in the high street and usuall9 a lot less expensive. Now I notice better spec machines brand new going for well under a grand. What I hate about computing is that there is no good time to buy! And just as you think you have a great deal, a few weeks later it gets beaten by someone else!
