Most of the time people are going to be spending more than 5p's worth on each connection to their ISP, except maybe to check l—il. But even then it's only going to add up to about £20 a year, hardly anything to complain about. Freeserve offers more services and you only pay for one charge - the phone call with no charges on top. On the basis of Freeserve, it would be a resounding no. Download speeds are slow. I can only recommend the service if you are interested solely in e-mail.
