The conkers are everywhere! I like autumn but it's getting colder, The nights are getting shorter so I can't play out for long. Winter's round the corner, But autumn is better. We need our fires on now, And more blankets on our beds. Some animals will be hibernating, And most birds flying south soon. ——————————————————————————————————2/6—— Digi fun 670 'Zine Life 142 PLANET SOUND p480 Fun&Games Eco Scene TV Plus Teddy

What do I see? Trees of fire in red, brown, yellow and orange that wave to each other in the wind. From my window, what do I see? Fiddlers Ferry just across the Mersey. Not the best of sights but if I look a little to the right, there's a better sight - the Pennines in a misty haze. I think how cold and bleak it must be there. Autumn, what does it mean? Brightness of summer, darkness of night. Stillness but life. The most interesting season. ——————————————————————————————————3/6—— Digi fun 670 'Zine Life 142 PLANET SOUND p480 Fun&Games Eco Scene TV Plus Teddy

Usually, during this frosty season, Animals start to hide for a very good reason. In winter the weather's too frosty, And for them to stay out would be too costly. So they prepare for bitter cold, By gathering all that they can hold. ——————————————————————————————————4/6—— Digi fun 670 'Zine Life 142 PLANET SOUND p480 Fun&Games Eco Scene TV Plus Teddy

Green fades into gold as Autumn draws wearily in. Morning mists swirl round and around hugging the dew-laden grass. Football begins in the clear but cold sunlight, cricket is a distant memory and frosted pitches cause grazed knees. Earlier sunsets and later dawns enclose the dwindling daylight hours. No more drawn-out sunsets as darkness envelops the autumnal sun with a swift, tidy movement. ——————————————————————————————————5/6—— Digi fun 670 'Zine Life 142 PLANET SOUND p480 Fun&Games Eco Scene TV Plus Teddy
