There is just one catch. If you want technical support over the phone, the charge is £1 a minute. Freeserve offers full access to the Net including e-mail, Web, newsgroups and FTP. Given the charge for support, would you consider dropping your current ISP in favour of Freeserve? ——————————————————————————————————1/5—— e-mail: bunderman@teletext.co.uk or post to: Bunderman, PO BOX 297, London SW6 1XT Careers Digitiser co.uk TV Plus

When I was a student, floppy disks were my lifeline in terms of getting files to and from campus. Believe it or not, students can't afford Zip drives and not everyone thinks paying £12 for 100MB is good value for money. If a company creates a professional look in the traditional media such as TV and print, why do they not take the Internet seriously? I've seen plenty of sites from large companies that are months, sometimes years out of date. Pathetic! I don't think the problem rests with retailers being greedy, but by the high price we pay on things because of tax. Sure you can buy CDs cheaper from CDNow in the US than IMVS in the UK, but CDNow doesn't charge any VAT. I'm sick and tired of paying a 5p minumum call charge on all my calls when many of them last for a minute or two.
