Oh, and extra technology so that it doesn't consume too much power. And that's the problem: the old colour portables used up six batteries in two hours, despite being only 8-bit. Also, light as it may be, I wouldn't really want to lug a PS around with me at all times. As far as portability goes, big is certainly not beautiful. Add these two facts together and you can see why tiny key-ring games have gone down so well in Japan of late. Raising a cyber chicken that lives next to a watch, on a screen, in an egg, on a keychain may not sound like a GB beating formula, but... Is he hungry/dirty/sick/ready to play? Has he grown up to become a gangster, a blob, or a keep-fit fanatic? ghether it catches on here remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure... Having a game constantly on the go, whenever you're, um, on the go, is the ultimate in multi-tasking.
