Serves:4 Cooking time: Approx 16-20 mins Per serving: 350 kcal (inc suggestions) Ingredients 4 Lean pork loin steaks,trimmed Marinade 8x15ml sp(8tbsp) low fat natural yogurt 1x15ml sp(1tbsp) mild curry paste 2x15ml sp(2tbsp) mango chutney 1x15ml sp(1tbsp)fresh coriander,chopped Method In a shallow dish, mix together all the marinade ingredients. Add the steaks & spread marinade over to coat well. Cover & leave in a fridge for 3-4 hours. Remove steaks & cook under a preheated grill for 8-10min each side.Serve with rice & a green salad. 350 kcal per meal serving is based on 127g pork loin steak,with 100g portion of rice,plus salad. P437 Teletext 437 Oct28 21:50:01 GRILLED PEANUT PORK. Serves:23/4 Cooking time: Approx 10-12 mins Ingredients 2 lean pork loin or leg steaks. Coating: 4x5ml sp (4tsp) crunchy peanut butter, 1x15ml sp (1tbsp) clear honey, 1x15ml sp(1tbsp) orange juice Method Mix together peanut butter & honey followed by orange juice. Mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Cut pork steak in half lengthways. Thread each thick pork strip onto skewers lengthways.Dip into coating spoon over mixture and thoroughly coat. Preheat grill & cook for 10-12 mins, turning occasionally and re-coating with any remaining coating. Serve with new potatoes and a mixed salad. If using wooden skewers soak in water before use. Ingredients 675g (1\lb) pork, cubed 1 x 15ml sp (1 tbsp) cornflour, blended with 2 x 15ml sp (2 tbsp) water, 397g (14oz) can chopped tomatoes, 150ml ({ pint) white wine, 2 x 15ml sp (2 tbsp) mustard, 1 x 15ml sp (1 tbsp) paprika, 1 x 15ml sp (1tbsp) tomato ketchup, 1 x 5ml sp (1 tsp) Worcestershire sauce, 1 x 2.5ml sp (\ tsp) ground turmeric, salt & black pepper, 1 each small red & green pepper, seeded and chopped. Method Place all ingredients, except peppers, into an ovenproof casserole & stir well. Bring to the boil, cover and cook in a preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove & stir in peppers.
