Preheat oven to Gas Mark 4/350 deg F/180 deg C. Cream butter and caster sugar and beat in the egg. Sift flour, baking powder and coffee and fold into the egg mixture. Spoon into prepared tin and bake for 20-25 minutes. To make the icing, sift icing sugar into a small pan and bring to the boil. Pour onto the icing sugar and mix well.
