Speculation is that these will be come-back concerts from the Rolling Stones. Cindy Wilson and Kate Peirson of the B52s are said to be the vocalists on the forthcoming Bunnymen single. Wayne Hussey is out of hospital after his ljnor abdominal op. The band is a four-piece from Glasgow featuring arid slide-guitar from Ally McErlaine and smouldering vocals from Sharleen Spiteri. Highly recommended. Johnny Diesel and the Injectors R&B/rock from an Australian band — oup of Perth this time — with leader Diesel arriving there from the US aged 15. A mite samey but with some great moments. They had a 40% increase in sales for July/Dec 88 over the same period in 0:87. This puts their figure at over 750,000 sales. SH's main competitor, in the A4 teen market, is Number One. A web of these threads is compressed to produce the very stiff diaphragm. This is tden mounted in a casing carved from the heart-wood of a 200 xfar old zelkova tree. Jeanette — Johnny The lyrics hark back to those '60s bleedingmifart girl ballads but the music is more mellow. Jeanette has a fine voice too. A lovely record.
