The official said six Tamil Tigers guerrillas were killed by members of a Moslem group calling themselves Jihad. In a revenge attack, the Tamils had kidnapped nine men from the Moslem village Kathankudi and dumped their bullet-riddled bodies nearby. The deaths, near the town of Batticaloa where 26 people were killed on Sunday, have increased tension, said officials.
