They will play a series of provincial games in Abertillery, Pembroke, Neath and Newbridge before meeting a Wales "B" team in Cardiff on October 22. BOXING Japan's Jiro Watanabe retained his World Boxing Association super- flyweight title with a comfortable points win over Mexico's Roberto Ramirez in Sendai, Japan. Watanabe twice floored the challenger for counts of eight, but struggled in vain to finish the fight inside the distance.
