After five days of gains the TSE Index fell 1.84 to 657.19 Australia Higher metal prices continued to boost demand. Prices moved ahead in most sectors, lifting the AO Index 5.3 to close at 605.8. Hong Kong Investors were concerned by the Hong Kong dollar's weakness and prices finished easier in active trade. The HS Index fell 20.78 to 936.84. Singapore Prices closed narrowly mixed on profit-taking after steady opening.  WALL STREET 127 

Frankfurt Late buying helped share prices to firm after a mixed start. Paris Share prices were higher in active trading with overall sentiment boosted by strong food and oil shares. Zurich Share prices closed steady in quiet trading with many operators uncertain about interest rates and US money supply.  WALL STREET 127 
